KeyW Subsidiary Lands Spot in $50B GSA Alliant 2 IT Contract Vehicle - top government contractors - best government contracting eventA KeyW subsidiary has secured a spot on the General Services Administration‘s potential $50 billion Alliant 2 unrestricted information technology procurement vehicle.

Sotera Defense Solutions will be able to offer IT services to agencies under the governmentwide acquisition contract, which has a five-year base performance period and a five-year option, KeyW said Tuesday.

Kirk Herdman, executive vice president for corporate strategy and business development at KeyW, said the contract allows the company to support the federal government’s modernization of IT-related systems and applications as well as address the changing mission needs of customers.

The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity Alliant 2 GWAC is a follow-on to the Alliant contract awarded in 2007.

GSA awarded 60 other companies positions on Alliant 2, which covers big data, cloud computing, cybersecurity, agile development, biometrics and identity management, sensors and radio-frequency identification, data center consolidation, shared IT services, web analytics and hosting, software development, internet of things and other IT support services.
