Project Performance Co., a Data Systems Analysts subsidiary, has received a potential $6 million contract to upgrade the Justice Department’s Victim Notification System.
PPC said it will update the VNS application that works to send automated notifications to federal crimes victims through the use of Pegasystems’ Pega 7 platform.
Pega 7 is an application development tool designed to automate case management operations and business processes.
PPC CEO Paul Strasser said the contract award seeks to validate the company’s platforms and services designed to modernize federal legacy platforms through cloud-based strategies and low-code platforms.
PPC will also set up VNS in the Amazon Web Services-built cloud platform and collaborate with Pegasystems and Appriss under the modernization contract.
Appriss develops software-based notification services designed to aid federal, state and local criminal justice agencies in their citizen service delivery efforts.
