ViON has been included in a list of best-performing privately held companies in the greater Washington, D.C., area based on total revenue in 2016.
The company said Thursday it received recognition as one of the top private companies in the region for the second year, placing 53rd out of 105 companies in this year’s Washington Business Journal Largest Private Companies in Greater D.C. ranking.
Growing demand for ViON’s “as-a-service” cloud, infrastructure and analytics products — such as its Data Center as-a-Service offering for data center operations modernization at public and private organizations — worked to contribute to the company’s growth and stability, said ViON CEO Tom Frana.
ViON noted the technological support provided by its employees as a factor that helped facilitate the company’s business growth.
