Leidos Gets Recognition for Work Under DARPA's Unmanned Anti-Submarine Vessel Program - top government contractors - best government contracting eventLeidos has received recognition for its work to build an unmanned surface vessel under the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency‘s Anti-Submarine Warfare Continuous Trail Unmanned Vessel program.

The science and technology company said Monday its GCN dig IT award in the robotics, automation and unmanned systems category covers its support for DARPA to develop the Sea Hunter unmanned ship under the ACTUV effort.

Leidos helped design and build a prototype unit for Sea Hunter that DARPA christened in April 2016.

The autonomous vessel works to support anti-submarine warfare, mine warfare and other surveillance and sensing missions.

The GCN dig IT awards recognizes technology programs and information technology professionals who help transform government.
