BAE Systems has begun to develop system analysis, reverse engineering and intrusion detection tools in a move to help military customers detect and address cyber risks to aircraft platforms in real time.
BAEÂ said Monday the cyber defense systems will expand the company’s portfolio of threat management products and help defend warfighters and their aerial vehicles from potential cyber adversaries.
“We’re focused on developing technology that protects warfighters from current and emerging cyber threats,” said Cheryl Paradis, director of BAE’s threat management solutions business.
The company designed its new threat management tools to help users automate vulnerability assessments, identify malicious behavior of systems and harden subsystems.
BAE unveiled a three-dimensional advanced warning system suite in April that works to detect incoming aircraft threats and deploy countermeasure defense measures.
