AirTronic USA has received contracts from the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency and undisclosed international defense clients to supply 40-millimeter grenade launcher systems.
The company said Thursday it will provide M203 grenade launcher barrels under a multiyear contract with DLA and grenade launcher systems under a pair of foreign contracts.
Richard Vandiver, AirTronic president and chief operating officer, said the company developed its 40mm systems to aid military customers in counterinsurgency and counterterrorism missions.
AirTronic also secured multiple task order renewals that will extend production of the company’s Precision Shoulder Fired Rocket Launcher platform through 2020.
A PSRL virtual training simulator will be on display at the Association of the United States Army meeting and exposition that will run from Oct. 9 to 11 in Washington, D.C.
