Red Hat has opened an innovation hub in Singapore as part of efforts to help customers in the Asia-Pacific region to develop or update information technology applications with open source and DevOps methods.
The company said Monday it established the Open Innovation Labs to offer clients a range of support services intended to address IT and business.
Dirk-Peter Van Leeuwen, senior vice president and general manager of Red Hat’s Asia-Pacific arm, said the company aims to introduce its “DNA and the open source way of working to our customers in a residency-style, virtual or pop-up setting.”
The facility houses IT professionals, consultants, engineers and subject matter experts who will collaborate with customers to help them create tools for physical, mobile and cloud environments.
Red Hat will also offer clients access to push button infrastructure and automated development platform through the the company’s new innovation hub.
