General Dynamics is presenting its EAGLE 6×6 multirole vehicle at the Defence and Security Equipment International 2017 event that will run through Friday in London.
The company said Wednesday an ambulance variant and a troop carrying version of EAGLE 6×6 will undergo trials from October 2017 to February 2018 as a part of the British Army’s Multi Role Vehicle – Protected program.
General Dynamics will also provide an EAGLE platform for a mine blast trial.
EAGLE comes in a range of 4×4 and 6×6 configurations that support troop transport, recovery, command, reconnaissance and logistics operations, the company said.
Kevin Connell, vice president of General Dynamics’ U.K.-based land systems segment, said the company will assemble, integrate, test and provide in-service support for the British army’s EAGLE platforms at its facility in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales.
