AAR has partnered with Avitech to offer container and shelter repair services to U.S. military and NATO forces through a newly established facility in Europe.
Jeff Jackson, vice president of business development at AAR’s mobility systems business, said in a statement published Thursday the company aims to continue to provide support services for government customers worldwide.
Jackson added the European Reassurance Initiative has used company-made products to aid missions.
The company received a five-year, $12.6 million contract in January to supply storage and shipping containers, shelters, air cargo pallets and accessories to NATO.
AAR also operates repair facilities in Michigan and North Carolina.
