An AECOMÂ subsidiary has received two contract modifications from the U.S. Army to supply, maintain and provide logistics services for the military branch’s pre-positioned stocks.
The Defense Department said Thursday URS Federal Services will support Army pre-positioned stock-5 in Kuwait under a $14.2 million modification that runs through Jan. 2, 2018.
URS Federal Services will also support APS-2 in Germany through Nov. 20, 2021, under a separate $12.1 million modification.
Pre-positioned stocks help geographic combatant commanders execute operation plans and perform contingency operations worldwide, as well as supports the Army’s total readiness efforts.
The Army Contracting Command will obligate the full amounts of both modifications at the time of award from fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance funds.
