A Cubic subsidiary has received two delivery orders to provide networking equipment in support of the U.S. Special Operations Command’s next-generation tactical local area network.
DTECH Labs will deliver Mobile, Modular, Micro-Single Enclave systems for USSOCOM to build a distributed cloud architecture and increase the mobility and resiliency of information environment for special operation forces, Cubic said Monday.
Mike Barthlow, vice president of secure networking at Cubic’s mission solutions business, said the company aims to help lighten the load of SOF warfighters and increase their access to battlefield information through a ruggedized hyper-converged platform.
The M3-SE-VSVR technology is certified by the Joint Interoperability Test Command and designed to help users produce communications systems that are small in size, weight and power consumption.
DTECH Labs became part of Cubic in 2014.
