Chimera Enterprises International has received a potential five-year, $45 million contract for advisory and assistance services to the Defense Threat Reduction Agency‘s operations, readiness and exercises directorate.
The Defense Department said Monday Chimera will help the directorate research. plan, design, develop, implement, integrate and apply transitioning systems that deal with weapons of mass destruction.
Work will occur at DTRA’s headquarters at Fort Belvoir in Virginia through June 11, 2022.
Chimera will advise and assist the agency on the Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Preparedness program as part of an initial task order under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
The agency obligated $1.8 million on the first task order from fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance funds.
