Leidos will work to provide research, development, sustainment and other services in support of the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division’s Combat Environment Instrumentation Systems through a potential $198 million multi-award contract the U.S. Navy awarded in March.

The company said Thursday the contract also covers instrumentation delivery and updates as well as hardware and software engineering services for CEIS in use at Defense Department and allied training and test and evaluation ranges.

Tim Reardon, Leidos President of Defense & Intelligence, said the company’s technical portfolio will serve to support NAWCAD’s efforts to build on CEIS functions.

Leidos is one of six companies that secured positions under the five-year contract.
