Jim DiClementi, formerly vice president of business development at Leidos, has been named senior director of capture at Herndon, Virginia-based professional and technical services contractor Irving Burton Associates.
DiClementi will lead IBA’s efforts to pursue indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity and governmentwide acquisition contracts, IBA said Thursday.
He has decades of experience in the areas of strategic planning, capture and business development in the federal government sector.
DiClementi was responsible for the diversification and growth of Leidos’ federal civilian agency business and helped the company’s federal clients address challenges in security, health, infrastructure and environmental domains as a federal civilian account executive.
He spent more than a decade at DuPont as a senior business development and capture manager for the U.S. federal government across various service areas that include cybersecurity, information technology system development and early-stage research and development.
Prior to DuPont, he served as national and regional federal business development manager at Parsons Corp. and program manager at Foster Wheeler.
Falls Church, Virginia-based IBA is a woman-owned business that works to provide professional and technical consulting support to federal clients.
