GovCon Vets Named to Virginia Business’ 2017 Most Influential List - top government contractors - best government contracting eventThe Virginia Business magazine has unveiled its list of 50 Most Influential Virginians for 2017 that includes some prominent individuals in the government contracting sector.

Some of the Northern Virginia Technology Council’s board members who made it to the publication’s list include Tony Moraco, president and CEO of Science Applications International Corp., NVTC said Monday.

The magazine also recognized representatives from NVTC’s board member companies that include Wes Bush, chairman, president and CEO of Northrop Grumman; Mike Lawrie, chairman, president and CEO of Computer Sciences Corp.; and Phebe Novakovic, chairman and CEO of General Dynamics.

Other GovCon industry executives who were named to the list include Roger Krone, chairman and CEO of Leidos; Mike Petters, president and CEO of Huntington Ingalls Industries; and David Thompson, president and CEO of Orbital ATK.
