Cubic‘s mission solutions business will showcase a range of integrated satellite communication products during the SATELLITE 2017 event, scheduled to take place at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington from March 6 to 9.
The company said Tuesday it will display the inflatable satcom antennas of its GATR business as well as the communication and optimization products the company obtained when it purchased Vocality in November last year.
Vocality will feature its OPUS Suite family of network optimization products; Radio over Internet Protocol; and ELITE Fusion portable team communications platform.
“Satellite will be the first formal event for Vocality since its acquisition by Cubic late last year,” said Mike Twyman, president of Cubic’s mission solutions segment.
Twyman added Cubic aims to further integrate technologies into its mission solutions business to offer comprehensive command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance products for customers.
GATR will also introduce the GATR 950 ruggedized modem and the GATR-FLEX 29.5-inch foldable satellite antenna that is designed to weigh less than 20 pounds at the industry event.
The unit’s inflatable, portable satellite antennas are designed to provide up to 90 percent reduction in the logistical size and weight of rigid deployable antennas.
