Sonoran Technology and Professional Services has secured a $7.2 million contract option to provide equipment, tools and materials to U.S. Air Force personnel in support of the E-3 Mission Crew Training program.
The Defense Department said Friday the exercised option also includes support for courseware development, academic instruction, aircrew training device instruction, simulator operator support, scenario development, mission crew ATD event scheduling functions.
Sonoran Technology will also train the airborne warning and control system mission crewmembers and foreign national students from other countries under the contract.
Work will occur at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma through March 31, 2018.
The Air Force obligated the full amount of the option at the time of award from the military branch’s fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance funds.
