Rocky Brands has secured a pair of new orders worth up to $38.4 million combined to supply hot and temperate weather combat boots to the U.S. military.
The order for temperate weather boots is valued at $30 million over three years and the order for hot weather boots has a one-year performance period valued at $3.8 million, Rocky Brands said Friday.
The company is scheduled to start manufacturing the products in the first half of 2017.
Rocky Brands CEO and Chairman Mike Brooks, said the company also expanded its manufacturing facility in Puerto Rico in an effort to help address footwear requirements of military customers.
The company is working to fulfill orders under a contract awarded in 2013 and two contracts received in 2016.
