Denver’s Office of the National Western Center has selected CH2M as the program manager for the 250-acre National Western Center campus development in support of the city’s agricultural innovation goal.
CH2M will work to rehabilitate the site and develop new green spaces for the launch of the National Western complex, Denver Coliseum and the adjoining neighborhoods as part of the NWC Master Plan, CH2M said Dec. 20.
Denver intends for the plan to capture the National Western Stock Show as the largest agriculture convention in Colorado.
“The National Western Center Program is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to invest in our community and create both a local and global destination for next generation agribusiness, education and entertainment,” said CH2M CEO Jacqueline Hinman.
Founding partners of NWC include the Western Stock Show Association, Colorado State University, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, History Colorado and Denver Water.
