Distributed Solutions Inc. has secured a potential $10.5 million blanket purchase agreement from the integrated technology services branch of the General Services Administration‘s Federal Acquisition Service to develop a contract writing system-as-a-service platform for GSA and its customer agencies.
DSI said Wednesday the agreement calls for the company to provide a software-as-a-service, cloud-based enterprise-grade system for government users to manage all aspects of the acquisition lifecycle and integration with any financial management system.
The company’s SaaS CWSS will run on a cloud environment that Edge Hosting developed to support the software platform and commercial-off-the-shelf tools.
DSI founder and CEO Daniel Carr said the company aims to provide tools and resources necessary for government acquisition community to carry out its mission.
The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office also partnered with DSI in April to implement a tool designed to help USPTO manage procurement functions across the agency.
