Cyberbit, a subsidiary of Elbit Systems, has secured a contract to deliver a training and simulation platform to a Baltimore, Maryland-based cybersecurity training center for information technology and supervisory control and data acquisition security professionals.
Elbit Systems said Sunday the Cyber Security Training Range of Maryland will use Cyberbit’s Range technology to train cybersecurity professionals on how to protect national assets and infrastructure against potential cyber attacks.
“Public sector organizations manage highly sensitive infrastructure and cannot afford to have the staff’s first encounter with a threat occur during attacks,” said Adi Dar, general manager of Cyberbit.
“By training and simulating the response process in advance, security staff can dramatically improve their performance,” Dar added.
CSTR of Maryland offers training on current cyber warfare strategies to private and public sector professionals and seeks to help security teams respond to sophisticated threats such as ransomware.
