Carahsoft will act as Zscaler‘s master government market aggregator and offer the latter’s cloud security platform on General Services Administration and NASA contract vehicles for an extended partnership between both companies.
Zscaler designed its Internet Security Platform cover secure web gateways, cloud sandboxes, cloud firewalls and secure private access to internal assets in an effort to block malware, Carahsoft said Oct. 21.
James Kohler, director of Zscaler’s public sector business, said the partnership aims to provide public organizations with access to the cloud security platform, which will work to protect their staff, data and mission critical applications.
Zscaler and Carahsoft also aim to help mitigate costs and streamline internet traffic and private application security for government customers, said Michael Shrader, vice president of innovative and intelligence solutions at Carahsoft.
The platform will be available to agencies through Carahsoft’s GSA Schedule and NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V contract vehicles.
