RFID Journal will host an event focused on radio-frequency identification technologies for the aerospace and defense sector on Oct. 20 at the Long Beach Convention Center in California.
The media company said Thursday the U.S. Air Force, Northrop Grumman and Delta Air Lines will participate in the event to share how they apply RFID technology in operations.
RFID Journal added the forum will feature discussions on customer requirements, RFID technologies for various needs and best practices from early adopters.
The company noted RFID4U will present an RFID training course comprised of lectures and hands-on laboratory exercises on Oct. 19 as part of the event.
Event speakers include Rick Lewis, Delta business analyst for aircraft maintenance; Jamin McCue, Northrop senior RF engineer; Matt Joseph, Serco program tech lead at Wright Patterson Air Force Base; and Joshua Landry, BAE Systems program engineering manager.
