Capstone has received a competitive task order from the Naval Supply Systems Command to provide operational contracting support services the Joint Staff Director of Logistics.
The company said Thursday this award made under NAVSUP’s Joint Force Development Support Services vehicle will cover integration of OCS in joint training and lessons, development and validation of systems and OCS development through operationalized concepts.
Joint Logistic Enterprise leaders and organizations will also be provided with joint OCS as well as joint concepts for logistics capacity, Capstone noted.
John McNally, senior vice president for growth at Capstone, said the company’s first competitive award to support Joint Staff J4 is an opportunity to contribute in the development and implementation of operational contracting work in support of contingency operations.
The U.S. Navy awarded positions on an $876.9 million contract in March of 2014 to Capstone and six other companies with C for training support services under the Joint Force Development program.
