Antonio Rucci, owner and principal of Insider Threats Consulting, has been named head of the information security program at Information International Associates.
Bonnie Carroll, founder and CEO of IIa, said Rucci’s experience in program management, cybersecurity governance and policy development will help IIa expand its threat intelligence footprint, build up its cybersecurity programs and service current contracts.
Rucci has more than three decades of technical security and information technology experience in various industry groups and government agencies such as the White House, U.S. Army and the Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
The retired counterintelligence operations officer served for seven years as technical intelligence and security programs manager at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
He is a fellow of the National Cybersecurity Institute and sits on the security advisory board of the University of Nevada in Reno.
Rucci also serves as national vice president of the U.S. Army Military Intelligence Corps Association.
He previously worked at NJVC as director of data center services, critical infrastructure protection and risk mitigation and also founded /Root Technology in 2013.
Oak Ridge, Tennessee-based IIa is a woman-owned small business founded by Carroll in 1998 and a provider of IT, knowledge management and data analytics services.
The company oversees contracts with various government agencies that include the Energy Department’s office of scientific and technical information, U.S. Air Force and the National Regulatory Commission.
