Accenture has obtained Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program certification for a cloud-based enterprise resource planning system designed for government customers.
The company said Tuesday it helped the National Science Foundation implement and migrate NSF’s new financial system to Accenture’s Federal Cloud ERP platform.
David Moskovitz, chief executive of Accenture’s federal services business, said the FedRAMP certification will help the company to introduce modern products and services in the federal market to aid customer agencies with their respective missions.
FedRAMP provides a standardized approach to assessment, authorization and monitoring of the security of cloud offering and works to help the government reduce manpower and hours spent on agency security assessments as well as mitigate redundancy and associated security-assessment costs.
