Tec-Masters will mentor woman-owned small business BMK Secure Solutions on technology transfer and business operations as part of a Missile Defense Agency-sponsored mentor-protege program.
Oakwood University will work with Tec-Masters to help BMK develop quality systems in pursuit of certifications such as those from the International Standardization Organization and CMMI Institute, Tec-Masters said Thursday.
“We look forward to sharing our best practices and experiences with BMK,” said Marvin Carroll, Tec-Masters president and CEO.
BMK is a “historically underutilized business zones” small business that provides big data systems and acquisition project management services for Defense Department and other federal programs.
The Defense Department‘s mentor-protege program works to guide small businesses on how to secure prime and subcontract awards by developing long-term relationships with larger companies.
