Northrop Grumman has received a subcontract from Liberty IT Solutions to provide health information technology support services to the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Northrop will collaborate with Liberty IT to support the department’s MyVA program, which seeks to change the way VA serves veterans through the use of IT platforms, under a potential 10-year, $22.3 billion indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract, Northrop said Thursday.
Liberty IT Solutions is one of the 21 companies that won positions in March on the Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology Next Generation contract vehicle.
Agencies within VA can use the T4NG contract to procure software engineering, program management, strategic planning, technical support and related IT platforms and services.
Northrop expects VA to issue task orders for cybersecurity, network management, operations and IT infrastructure updates through the T4NG acquisition vehicle.
Herndon, Virginia-based Liberty IT Solutions is a service-disabled, veteran-owned small business that provides systems integration, cloud, telehealth, analytics, cybersecurity, application sustainment and related technology platforms for government healthcare clients.
