IT Federal Sales will offer FirstFuel Software‘s cloud-based platform and remote energy and water audit tools to federal agencies via the General Services Administration IT Schedule 70 contract.
Lexington, Massachusetts-based FirstFuel said Tuesday it has been added to the Special Item Number 142 40 cloud computing services schedule to offer remote energy intelligence and monitoring to federal government customers.
Jeff Niesz, vice president of FirstFuel’s federal business, said the company seeks to expand agencies’ usage of the energy intelligence platform and audit tools to aid energy savings efforts for federal buildings, campuses and portfolios.
FirstFuel added its remote audit services has supported GSA’s efforts to achieve compliance with Section 432 of the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 that requires agencies to identify facilities that make up at least 75 percent of their total energy use.
