PAEÂ is set to provide maintenance and logistics support services for 44Â F-5 aircraft of the U.S. Navy after the service branch cancelled a stop-work order on the company.
PAE said Tuesday it began contract transition performance on May 25 and will continue work through a four-year period if all options are exercised.
The contract awarded by the Naval Air Systems Command covers organizational, intermediate and depot-level maintenance and logistics services for F-5F and F-5N aircraft at two naval air stations in Nevada and Florida as well as at a Marine Corps air station in Arizona.
“With this contract, PAE has also expanded the mission-focus of its aircraft services portfolio, by supporting aircraft maintenance for the training of Navy and Marine Corps aircrews and simulating the capabilities of adversary fighter aircraft operating in today’s theater,” said PAE CEO John Heller.
The company will also support the Specialized and Proven Aircraft Program Office that oversees aircraft in the adversary program, U.S. Naval Test Pilot School, U.S. Naval Postgraduate School and out-of-inventory foreign military sales aircraft.
