Metova has been awarded a $3.8 million contract to provide a cyber range technology to the Air National Guard to aid in the service’s virtual training program.
The Air National Guard will use the CyberCENTS platform to conduct tier 1, 2 and 3 exercises and training for its cyber mission forces, Metova said Tuesday.
“We are honored to provide our technology to the Air National Guard’s Virtual Interconnected Training Environment and look forward to ensuring their cyber forces are prepared to defend against even the most sophisticated cyber-attacks,” said Bill Dunn, president of Metova CyberCENTS.
Metova will also help the Air National Guard implement its cyber mission construct and maintain distributed training for integrated warfighter operations through the CENTS cyber range technology.
The company’s Cybersecurity Network Training Simulator consists of hardware and virtual machines while its SLAM-R appliance features VM/device management and traffic generation tools, an internet grey space and an event and attack framework.
CyberCENTS’ Range Global Internet system will serve as the interconnecting hub for the Air National Guard’s CYNTRS units, Metova noted.
