Hewlett Packard Enterprise has moved forward to the operational readiness review phase of its cybersecurity platform for federal civilian agencies under a Department of Homeland Security-run continuous diagnostics and mitigation program.
The company designed its automated CDM platform to help government users identify and categorize information technology security risk by priority, HPE said Tuesday.
“HPE is proud to be a trusted partner with DHS and other federal agencies to continuously improve the protection of their digital environments,†said Marilyn Crouther, senior vice president of HPE’s public sector business.
Crouther added CDM represents an evolution of the government’s cybersecurity approach.
HPE was awarded a contract by DHS in September last year to design, build and operate a CDM system for the departments of Education and Housing and Urban Development, Environmental Protection Agency, National Science Foundation, Nuclear Regulatory Commission and Small Business Administration.
