STG Group has received a potential four-year, $7 million contract from the U.S. Army to provide cybersecurity support services for the service branch’s Network Enterprise Technology Command.
Joe Nicholas, senior vice president and sector lead for cybersecurity and secure information systems at STG, will be in charge of the company’s business with NETCOM, the company said Wednesday.
The contract also covers information assurance, vulnerability management, security control assessor representative support and information systems security services for NETCOM’s cybersecurity directorate, Army Cyber Command, 2nd Army and other units.
Paul Fernandes, president of STG, said the contract expands STG’s 20-year partnership with the military branch and reflects the company’s efforts to provide cybersecurity platforms and services for defense, intelligence and federal civilian agencies.
