Morrison & Foerster has added eight partners from Jenner & Block to its government contracts and public procurement practice offices based in Washington and northern Virginia.
The group consists of David Churchill, Jay DeVecchio, Alex Ward, Kevin Mullen, Kevin Dwyer, Jessie Liu, Daniel Chudd and Damien Specht, who will all serve aerospace, defense, government and professional services, healthcare and information technology clients, Morrison & Foerster said Monday.
Brad Wine, co-chair of Morrison & Foerster’s government contracts and public procurement practice, said the law firm expects to expand its litigation services covering large bid protests, False Claims Act, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and general commercial disputes with the help of the new partners.
Churchill and DeVecchio, formerly co-chairs of Jenner & Block’s government contracts practice, and Ward will serve as co-chairs of Morrison & Foerster’s government contracts and public procurement practice.
Liu, formerly co-chair of Jenner & Block’s white-collar defense and investigations practice, will join the securities litigation, enforcement and white-collar defense practice and trial practice groups.
Specht previously served as co-chair of Jenner & Block’s government contracts corporate transactions group.
Mullen, Dwyer and Chudd have experience in government contracts litigation.
