Big data analytics and visualization technology company Zoomdata has formed new federal practice partnerships with Deloitte, Northrop Grumman and Unisys as part of a new program focused on data services to U.S. government agencies.
Zoomdata said Tuesday it intends to train users on how to use its technology through the partnerships in an effort to help agencies meet requirements in the Internet of Things, data discovery and constituent reporting areas.
The company formed the partnerships as one facet of its new federal program to focus on efforts at agencies to help them deliver analytics across their networks for civilian, logistics, research and military programs.
George Atkinson, former Platfora federal sales director, has joined as the federal program director for a new federal strategy designed for civilian, logistics, research or military program data storage.
Atkinson has served in his role since February and has overseen customer access to the company’s services in the AWS GovCloud for customers to utilize Zoomdata’s libraries along with support services and data stores such as Amazon Simple Storage Service, Hadoop, Impala, Hive, NoSQL, ElasticSearch, MySQL and Oracle.
Zoomdata has also announced its products and services will be available via NASA‘s Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V vehicle for information technology products.
