World Wide Technology has launched a regional office in Denver to house the operations of WWT Asynchrony Labs as well as accommodate its engineering and sales operations.
WWT CEO Jim Kavanaugh said Friday the St. Louis-based systems integration firm plans to leverage Denver’s information technology workforce and resources to broaden the services it provides to clients and expand business relationships with partners and customers.
Last year the company purchased Asynchrony Labs, an IT consulting firm that works to deliver mobile computing, enterprise architecture, systems integration and software development services to government agencies and commercial firms.
WWT and its Asynchrony Labs division plan to employ up to 70 workers this year with a plan to hire 50 additional field sales personnel and 200 software developers in Denver in an effort to meet clients’ demand for technology platforms.
