The 2016 Cloudera Government Forum will convene public and private sector professionals and government officials such as Rep. William Hurd (R-Texas) and White House’s chief data scientist and deputy chief technology officer for data policy DJ Patil, Cloudera said Wednesday.
Following the forum, the Cloudera Technology Day will deliver a technical program for industry and government professionals in the mid-Atlantic region with interest in Apache Hadoop-based data infrastructure.
Industry professionals will also give presentations at the forum such as CIA’s Andrew Hallman, Thorn’s Brooke Istook, Cloudera’s Mike Olson, GovLab’s Beth Simone Noveck, Intel’s Kim Stevenson and Securities and Exchange Commission’s Lori Walsh.
Doug Cutting, Cloudera chief architect, will open the Cloudera Technology Day, where other Cloudera technical professionals such as Eddie Garcia, Todd Lipcon, Eva Andreasson and Juliet Hougland will also speak.
