Bell Helicopter to Deliver Two 429s to Indonesian National Police; Damos Nasution, Sameer Rehman Comment

Bell Helicopter has received an order to produce two Bell 429s for the Indonesian National Police in order to aid in law enforcement operations and security efforts in the country.

Damos Nasution, president of Multi Pacific, said Thursday “the selection of the Bell 429 will help improve the Indonesian Police’s support capability to ensure the safety, security and protection of the area.”

Signing of the contract took place during the Singapore Airshow.

Sameer Rehman, managing director for Asia Pacific, added that Bell 29 will provide extended capabilities and new safety features to the region.

Bell 429 incorporates the SBAS/WAAS navigation and instrument flight rules system, a collective mounted throttle, damage tolerant hub and rotor system and energy attenuating seats.
