AECOM has won several awards from two publications in recognition of the company’s work on various environmental remediation and climate adaptation projects globally.
The Climate Change Business Journal recognized AECOM with Climate Adaptation and Resilience industry leadership and project merit awards for its support of domestic and international 35 projects, including an effort to protect Florida’s Miami Beach from flood and rising seas, the company said Wednesday.
The two CCBJ awards also acknowledge the company’s partnerships with the United Nations, World Bank, Rockefeller Foundation and World Road Association to help address climate change.
AECOM also earned two project merit awards from the Environmental Business Journal for providing services for a post-railroad disaster management initiative in Quebec, Canada, as well as for environmental and ecological studies in Uganda.
The publications will present the awards to the company during the Environmental Industry Summit XIV that will be held March 9 in San Diego.
