A-P-T Research Inc. has won a $30,456,367 contract to help the Missile Defense Agency develop and implement safety policies for the ballistic missile defense system.
The company will work to identify and manage BMDS risks and assist the agency in system flight and ground tests under the contract, the Defense Department said Tuesday.
A-P-T will perform work in Alabama, Virginia, New Mexico, Vandenberg Air Force Base in California and Alaska through December 2021.
The company uses software and analytical tools to assess the risks in explosives, flight and environmental engineering.
