An EMCOR Group subsidiary has won a potential five-year, $40.2 million contract to provide facility support services for the U.S. Navy.
The Defense Department said Monday EMCOR Government Services will provide preventive maintenance, testing, inspection, training, management supervision, equipment and labor services for the Naval Support Activity Bethesda in Maryland under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract,
The Naval Facilities Engineering Command awarded the contract through the competitive acquisition process with six offers received.
Work will occur in Bethesda through December 2016 under the award, which has a base period and four one-year options.
The command will obligate a total of $6.7 million from the service branch’s fiscal 2016 funds for recurring work for each task order during the contract’s base term, according to DoD.
