Datapipe has obtained a Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program certification to offer a managed private cloud hosting service in the U.S. government sector.
The FedRAMP Joint Authorization Board granted Datapipe a provisional authority-to-operate status for its Federal Community Cloud Platform, the company said Thursday.
The company aims to help agencies manage sensitive information as well as connect with public cloud environments through the platform.
Datapipe will deliver its FedRAMP-compliant managed service to public sector customers through a virtual operating system.
The platform is also designed to support agency cloud modules and comply with government security controls.
