Alan Bloodgood serves as senior vice president for business development at Siemens‘ U.S. federal business organization — Siemens Government Technologies — and supports agencies in the healthcare, energy and infrastructure arenas.
He has nearly 30 years of experience in government contracting, program management, aviation and software engineering with companies such as Metron Aviation and Lockheed Martin.
Bloodgood was SVP for commercial products and services at Metron Aviation, a unit within Airbus‘ ProSky subsidiary, before he joined the Siemens conglomerate in 2014.
At Metron, he was responsible for commercial projects across several international locations.
Bloodgood has also worked as director of homeland security solutions, director of aviation and advanced project development and manager of the Transportation Worker Identification Credential program at Lockheed.
He has a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Maryland and an undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
