CyrusOne has expanded its Northern Virginia data center campus in an effort to meet the customers’ growing colocation demand.
CyrusOne added 30,000 square feet and 6 megawatts of power capacity to its Sterling, Virginia-based facility, the company said Wednesday.
“We continue to see solid demand in this market,†said Laramie Dorris, director of data center design and construction at CyrusOne.
“As our customers’ data infrastructure systems continue to grow, we’re able to provide just-in-time inventory to meet their needs,†added Dorris.
The 14-acre campus accommodates data center and Class A office space, with up to 48 megawatts of critical load.
