DLT Solutions and GitHub have partnered to market a programming code management tool for open source and private software development projects in the government sector.
DLT said Thursday the GitHub Enterprise platform is an on-premise variant of GitHub.com and works to help developers search, review and share codes.
Jim Propps, director of DLT’s enterprise platforms division, said the company aims to help its customer agencies integrate application development and workflow support tools through the GitHub offering.
The partnership will also offer GitHub Enterprise government clients access to DLT offerings through the Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement, Chief Information Officer-Commodities and Solutions and State, Local and Education-The Interlocal Purchasing System contract vehicles.
DLT will add the GitHUb platform to its open-source technologies portfolio, which includes Red Hat, Ansible and CloudBees information technology products.
