SAP National Security Services — a U.S.-based subsidiary of the German software and technology conglomerate — and Virtustream have partnered to deliver standards-compliant cloud services to federal agency clients.
SAP NS2 will help agencies with migrations of applications into managed and secure cloud platforms in an effort to comply with the government-wide Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, the companies said Tuesday.
“This offering combines our expertise in cloud, technology and security to formulate something unique for our customers,†said Carmen Krueger, senior vice president and general manager for cloud operations at SAP NS2.
The companies seek to bring cloud-based SAP HANA tools to federal agencies through their partnership.
Virtustream holds a FedRAMP provisional authority-to-operate accreditation at the program’s moderate level and agencies can use that P-ATO to grant their own ATO for the company’s cloud offerings.
