L-3 Communications has received three James S. Cogswell Outstanding Industrial Security Achievement Awards for security practices being implemented at the company’s facilities.
The Defense Security Service selected L-3’s Greenville, Texas-based mission integration division, Middletown, Rhode Island-based Unidyne facility and the Camden, New Jersey-based Systems Company operation as among the 41 recipients of the award, L-3 said Monday.
‘We are deeply honored to be recognized by DSS, not only for meeting its high standards, but also for demonstrating our ongoing commitment to safeguarding sensitive information,†said Vincent Jarvie, L-3’s vice president of corporate security.
L-3 has earned 20 Cogswell awards since 2005 and the latest recognition marks the 11th consecutive year the company received more than one award for security practices from DSS.
