Tom Richey serves as a vice president and partner for federal growth and sales at IBM‘s global business services organization and works from the company’s Washington office.
He has held the position since March 2012 and is in charge of GBS Federal’s sales and growth activities and workforce for capture management, marketing research, proposal development and related functions.
Richey previously worked at Dell as VP for federal sales and at Microsoft as director of worldwide homeland security.
The former active-duty member and officer of the U.S. Coast Guard also served in the public sector as a Senate liaison for governmental and public affairs and senior policy adviser to the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship under the office of then Sen. John Kerry.
