Dell Services and Baystate Health’s technology center TechSpring have introduced programs that aim to improve the provision of care for patients with chronic conditions through telehealth and predictive analytics.
Dell said Tuesday it will work to collect claims, socio-economic and clinical data from several patient populations in an effort to help TechSpring home in on high-risk patients and develop clinical models intended to improve healthcare delivery and reduce medical costs.
The company added that it will incorporate its Dell Population Health Analytics platform into the project.
TechSpring and Dell will also carry out telehealth initiatives that seek to promote electronic visits and video conferencing between healthcare personnel and home-based patients with chronic diseases.
