SAP to Help European School Org Update Financial Reporting Software; Kari Kivinen Comments

SAP has been selected to modernize the financial reporting software of the European Schools in an effort to help the institution streamline its operations.

SAP said Tuesday the company has deployed its enterprise resource planning application and the SAP Simple Finance service in the European organization to standardize the accounting, controlling and procurement business processes.

The European Schools also intends to comply with new and existing financial regulations through the adoption of the software.

“The SAP Simple Finance solution empowers our users with more control and drives greater accountability,” said Kari Kivinen, secretary-general of the European Schools.

“And running in the cloud means that we didn’t need to invest in IT staff to maintain the system,” Kivinen added.
